In the short term your best option is to contact Andreas Fuchs or Marco Baringer: both are using arch on the common-lisp.net projects (ubf, ucw, bese at least) and ask them.
We, the administrators are still largely baffled by Arch...
Eventually we hope to compile (or get someone to do it) a short arch howto for common-lisp.net, but one does not yet exist.
