I'd like to create a new project, "stdutil" for the gardeners Standard Utilities Effort.
stdutil-admin (eslick@alum.mit.edu) stdutil-dev stdutil-announce
A darcs repository (I have a local one I can use to seed the common-lisp.net one) A home page redirect to the documentation server (if I can't host it at common-lisp.net)
Everything here will be released under an MIT or BSD style license, although some mixing will occur as we get author's permissions and have to add/remove various utilities.

Don't be afraid to ask for something outside of what common-lisp.net is typically used for. I can't guarantee that we can help you out but I'm willing to listen. :-)

Hi all,
It's a busy week for the day job. I'll post/release what I've put together so far this coming weekend. I'm planning to create a darcs repository and mailing list on common-lisp.net and (with a little luck) a website (location TBA) that allows a first pass searching of documentation strings and code.
I'll update the project wiki with the current status and a starting proposal and we can take it from there.
Cheers, Ian

The votes are in, and the winner is lisp-unit!
Actually, only a few people voted. But that's ok, the people that did vote liked lisp-unit and it is very simple to use and integrate. It conveniently uses an MIT License.
I also pinged the author and let him know we are planning on using it.
What's next on our list?
- Documentation standard?
- A repo where we can check in code/send patches.
- A naming convention for the different functions, packages, etc?
- A roadmap to our first version?
- A separate mailing list so we can stop boring everyone else on
Gardeners?
