Hi,
I'd like to set up a new project on common-lisp.net. The project's name is openAIR. It's been mentioned once or twice on comp.lang.lisp and since it is based on cells, development so far has been happening on cells-devel.
openAIR is intended to be a portable web-framework that uses cells instances to serve the pages through a web server. If it knows only part of a page is changed, it tries to send only that part on subsequent requests, injecting it into the page using fancy ajax techniques. So far, the project members are me (Andy Chambers), Kenny Tilton, and Frank Goenninger.
Until now, we've been using gitorious to host the code in a git repo. If c-l-net could provide a git repo, we'd be happy to use it but I don't see any problems in continuing with our current solution if that's not possible. What we'd really like is a mailing list, and a place to put a homepage.
Cheers, Andy Chambers
