Dear Admin,
I'd like to register a little project at common-lisp.net.
Name: cl-ipc Description: CP-IPC provides an interface to the ipc-calls of the libc using UFFI. Members: Stefan Kamphausen http://www.skamphausen.de ska@skamphausen.de (that's me ;-)
Edi Weitz (you know him better than I do ;-)
License: I am pretty sure it will be BSD since Edi suggested it.
Background-Information: CL-IPC was writting during a workshop with Edi Weitz at my company and I received permission to open-source it. I am quite new to CL development (although I have quite a few years of elisp in my rucksack). Currently it does little more that providing a macro (do-msg-queue) which opens an ipc-queue and runs the body for every message received. It may well improve over time.
If I will be given a unix user at your system (being able to use scp makes me think so) I politely ask for the username "ska" (if I may be so bold) unless it interferes with your site rules.
I will not be in the office for the next two weeks and thus will not react as quickly to emails as I usually do. Nevertheless I think I will check once every day.
Thanks and Kind Regards Stefan Kamphausen
