I have two CL projects that I'd like to move to Common-Lisp.net. They are LTelnetD and LMUD. The former is an implementation of a TELNET server in Lisp, the latter is a MUD in Lisp.
I have been working on both of these projects very slowly for some time now, and already have working CVS repositories. But I'd like to move them to C-L.net because I've had problems with both Internet connectivity and with some data loss. If I could get them hosted off-site I'd feel more comfortable about it. Also, having them on C-L.net would encourage others to participate as well.
Both are designed with x86-Linux SBCL in mind, particularly with futex support on Linux 2.6 because they are threaded applications. I haven't worked on them in a while, but expect to do so more and more as summer dies down and I have less to do outside.
Thanks, 'james

Sounds fine! What licence do you plan to use for these projects?
Regards, Mario.
P.S: I'll be away until around the 22nd...

Addendum to this. Altough this is, strictly speaking, right, the implications are wrong. I simply wanted to note that I won't be able to create the projects, and perhaps perhaps someone else could. I'm not running this site alone. Sorry to everybody for that.
It still is important to know what licence you want to use...
Regards, Mario.

I wanted to offer a choice between public domain and my own 'Discordian Public License' which provides essentially the same thing. The code doesn't say that right now but I'll modify it before putting it up to do so.
Would it be possible to put the raw CVS files up rather than import them into a new repository? That would preserve the logs and versions and stuff.

Sorry for the abominable delay. We'll need you GPG public key for sending you your common-lisp.net password.

You'll have access to the CVSROOT of both projects, so just putting existing ones there should be simple enough.

I realize that my application probably got lost during the breakin scare. So included is my freshly minted public key, again to set up the LMUD and LTELNETD projects.
I was actually thinking of renaming LTELNETD to CL-TELNETD, actually, in keeping with the other projects that are adopting the same naming convention. I'll do the rename on all my files before I put them up, but please created it with that name instead.
Thanks! 'james
