I seem to have a couple of problems:
(1)
I managed to create 2 cvs projects, and ci of 1 file worked. But I keep getting errors like this:
[sven@voyager:~/apps/clnet/cl-soap/public_html]$ cvs update cvs server: Updating . cvs [server aborted]: cannot stat /var/lock/cl-soap: No such file or directory cvs [server aborted]: cannot stat /var/lock/cl-soap: No such file or directory
All other projects have a lock directory, but only root can make new ones.

After my first checkins, I get the following mail errors:

I've added the /var/lock/cl-soap lock directory, as well as creating the cl-soap-cvs mailing list. That is the only mailing list created thus far though. Were you also wanting the usual *-devel and *-announce lists?
Let me know if you need anything additional, or have any further problems.

Thanks for fixing things, CVS checkins, CL-SOAP-CVS mailing notifications and archiving seem to work.
I am however still having problems with the CL-SOAP-DEVEL mailing list that was created earlier: I think I managed to subscribe myself to it (I can see myself from the admin web pages), but I didn't receive any email confirmations, nor did the first message that I posted to the list get distributed (or archived) - so there is still something wrong there.
I also cannot use the view-cvs web interface for cl-soap: apparently the project's root needs to be added to the config.file.

cl-soap-devel does not appear in /etc/aliases, so mailman bounces all the messages to it. (the last such message is from you at 11:18 this mornining). this _should_ be fixed, please check (and drop all my test messages).

done.

I reposted my earlier message to CL-SOAP-DEVEL and I still don't see it anywhere, and I also didn't receive any errors. Sorry.

View-CVS now seems to work OK.

i sent a message to cl-soap-devel and got a 'your message is awaitng moderator approval' back so i'd assumed things were working. i'll keep looking.

And now it all seems to works ... and hopefully it stays that way ;-)
Thx again,
