I would like to repeat my offer to moderate announce@common-lisp.net (i'd be nicer if all annoucment lists where moderated by the individual developers though).
Slightly related to this I have a question about mailman: Is there way i can, via email, tell mailman to drop a message instead of having to keep going to that horrible web interface?

Oops, sorry. The issue sort of when hanging. As I earlier stated, I'm all for this.
If this is ok with others, then Erik can just reset the list admin password and send it to Marco. (I can send it myself, but I don't have it handy right now -- over the weekend yes.)
