The request was made in july: http://common-lisp.net/pipermail/admin/2005-July/001186.html I don't know what its status is beyond that, although nobody seems to have touched the machine generated default page.

We are fairly liberal with respect to that. As long as you choose a different name, I have no problems with competing projects. That said, it would of course be nicer if you and S. Ionescu could team up to avoid duplication of effort. Regards, Mario.
