just a quick idea: i've seen some project that created several packages like:<br><ul><li>alexandria.strings</li><li>alexandria.lists</li><li>alexandria.numbers</li><li>etc<br></li></ul>so that people can inport only what they want. this may help against symbol collisions. i don't know how big an issue it is at all, or what the exact packages should look like.
