There is a useful subset of the macros/functions in the Graham's "On Lisp" which at least superficially appear to match the criteria for becoming part of alexandria.
Therefore the question: whether an effort of identification of those and bringing them here would be considered positive?

Yes and no. Anything sane and sensible is welcome, but the license of On Lisp examples is not suitable: verbatim copies are not acceptable unless you get PG to pass the relevant bits into Public Domain -- independent re-implementation is required. (For trivial stuff that has been part of the Lisp folklore forever this can be waived, I should think.)
Also, remember that anaphoric macros, continuations, etc. are out of scope for Alexandria.
