Sorry, but I still don't understand your question.  What sort of
problems are you having invoking ABCL?

I think that I am invoking ABCL OK.

But I am having issues loading libraries such as Vecto because of a stack overflow error
in Java on which I posted before
(see https://mailman.common-lisp.net/pipermail/armedbear-devel/2016-December/003757.html)

In that thread I posted that Vecto will load cleanly when ABCL is running in a Windows Command window
but will crash with a Java stack overflow when running in Slime.

So, before claiming a bug, I am trying to make sure that I am starting ABCL correctly.
