P.S. I don't have time to do a whole lot of debugging of the SBCL + run-program issue right now, although I have been able to replicate it.
Can you replicate while you (trace "UIOP/RUN-PROGRAM" sb-ext:run-program sb-ext:process-input sb-ext:process-output sb-ext:process-error sb-ext:process-pid sb-ext:process-wait sb-ext:process-exit-code)
and then run the same test with ASDF 3.1.3 and the same trace'ing?
