I think you are overestimating the effect of this form. **UNLESS** you are running with deferred warnings, this will only muffle `*uninteresting-conditions*` and `*uninteresting-compiler-conditions*`. By default, those are bound to `NIL`, so this shouldn't be causing your problem. R
