I think it's controlled by *COMPILE-FILE-FAILURE-BEHAVIOUR* and *COMPILE-FILE-WARNINGS-BEHAVIOUR* both taking as value one of :WARN, :ERROR or :IGNORE. Robert Goldman writes:
