I am getting repeated pull failures with this error:

error: unable to unlink old 'doc/index.html' (Permission denied)

Anyone else seeing that? I'm just wondering because the obvious fixes (cf. StackOverflow) don't work for me. Even rebooted to make sure there wasn't anything holding the file open. No joy.

Also, every failure to pull leaves me with spurious uncommitted changes in my working copy.

If this is just my problem, I'll work it out, but I was wondering if the repo was somehow messed up.
