I intend to release asdf 2.012 on dec 31. Hopefully, it would be my last release, and I would push for it to be included in all implementations. It would be nice if you would test the latest asdf 2.011.x to work on your platform before I do, maybe even try our regression test suite. Windows testers are particularly sought, since none of the maintainers seem to use windows.

Thank you for all of the work done improving ASDF. I tried to run some of the tests on Win7, but have run into some issues with the tests being specific to Unix/Posix/Linux/etc. I'll spend some time trying to get the tests running, but can't guarantee that I'll have any useful feedback by the release date.
Happy New Year,

I'd be interested to know if you have the same experience on SBCL as on LW. I haven't been able to get the LW tests to run anywhere, since LW seems to require a paid up license to dump an image, and you have to dump an image in order to run LW from the command line, as required by the asdf tests....
Trying on SBCL (or clisp, etc.) would be helpful, because it would help identify which problems with the test scripts are windows-specific, and which are lw-specific.
cheers, r
I have the standard SBCL 1.0.37 installed from the msi. This is a 32bit version without threading, I think. I also have CCL installed at a global level now. I'll look into clisp and ecl later. I ran into a snap installing Arch Linux in VirtualBox, but did get FreeBSD installed. Obviously, none of this will be ready for the 31st release, but my intention down the road is to have all of these available for testing.
I have other obligations the rest of this week, but will try to get back to some ASDF work later in the week or the weekend.
