I'm organizing a meet up in Boston for people interested in Racket. I imagine there are interested parties on the Boston LISP list as well, so I'm cross-posting the announcement here.

Racket Salon Boston will happen December 9th at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. The meeting location is West Village H room 366.
We have three confirmed speakers.
I will be talking about my experience using Racket for machine learning.
Asumu Takikawa will demo how to use Typed Racket with classes & objects.
Greg Hendershott will speak about an interesting, but not-yet-decided topic!

Racket Salon Boston is a meet up for folks interested in Racket and functional programming. Each meeting consists of a couple talks, chit-chat, and a group outing for dinner.
The atmosphere is open to people of all skill levels and interests. We are eager to meet students, professionals, hobbyists, and other interested individuals!
