Hello I am attempting to use a vector as the value in a slot. It does not work well in first attempt: CL-USER> (use-package :cells) T CL-USER> (defparameter a1 (make-instance 'model :value (c-in #(1 2 3 4)))) A1 CL-USER> (defparameter a2 (make-instance 'model :value (c? (apply #'+ (map 'list #'identity (value a1)))))) A2 CL-USER> (value a2) 10 CL-USER> (setf (elt (value a1) 1) 5) 5 CL-USER> (value a1) #(1 5 3 4) CL-USER> (value a2) 10 The VALUE slot of A2, depending on (VALUE A1) is not changing when (VALUE A1) is, shall we call it "changed in place". The cells version is from :pserver:anonymous:anonymous@common-lisp.net:/project/cells/cvsroot. The Lisp system is SBCL is 1.0.18.0-2. I would like to enquire whether I am simply doing something trivially wrong, or whether this is something that simply cannot be done without a major CELLS extension for support of vector values (like, FAMILY, can be viewed as a kind of support for list values). [cells-devel] Cello: a-label: method ix-render-in-font: cl-ftgl vs. ft "mismatch" ?

Hi Kenny, another question related to Cello and using the "new" package cl- freetype: When creating an instance of ix-text (by using macro a-label) the rendering is done via ix-paint - this calls ix-render-in-font which is part of the cl-ftgl package. As cl-ftgl is not used (but cl-freetype is) I don't see how text gets rendered really... Could you shed some light on this? Thanks a lot! Hi, What's the correct cvs command to get the latest celtk code. I realized mine's was a bit out of date when I fixed a bug and then noticed that it had already been fixed in the latest code. In the celtk source, this message is attached to the on-key-down of the tk-object slot. "Long story. Tcl C API weak for keypress events. This gets dispatched eventually thanks to DEFCOMMAND" Do you remember what this was all about? My first thought was that perhaps tk only generated keypress events instead of splitting them into keyup/keydown but the docs on the bind command seem to suggest you can catch them seperately. Hi, I don't know if that has been discussed yet, but I've several use cases where I want to do sth. like that: A cell should be calculated by a formula if it isn't set to a value. I thought that's possible with (c-formula (:inputp t) ... ), which does calculate the slot by a formula and can be setf, but how is it possible to unset the setf value and let cells calculate it again? Example: A textbox is by default calculated by a formula. If the user enters sth. into it, that value is used. If the user clears the field of his input, the value should be calculated again. Maybe the c-formula ... approach is completely the wrong way or that's not possible at all. I've read the documentation and primer but couldn't find anything helpful. Sorry, I'm new to cells.
