SLIME is still in non-free, what is the status of the licensing? Is there work going on to clean it and make it DFSG compliant?
There are still a few files non-free. As listed in debian/copyright we have: | WITHOUT a license: | swank-ecl.lisp | ChangeLog (as this is a generated file it can be considered | derivative of the others I assume) | | doc/Makefile | HACKING | NEWS | PROBLEMS | README
Would help be needed for this to make progress?
As I already contacted the slime people about this on numerous occasions I suppose they do not consider this to be a problem. Maybe another (moderate, polite) voice would consider them to be in error.
