Starting with SBCL 1.0.9, support for several architectures was disabled due to continuous instability when building the package on the autobuilders.
IIRC the other major reason was that the SBCL maintainer was Peter alone. Now that SBCL is under team maintenance [1][2] everyone can step in and help :-D
At least for mips and mipsel I believe I fixed the root cause in upstream version 1.0.10. I continue to maintain the MIPS port upstream and haven't seen the issue re-occur since then.
Thank you for having fixed that.
Please re-enable mips and mipsel in the debian/control file. Note that this can expose said instability once more, as the SBCL version to bootstrap from is older than 1.0.10. If this is the case I'll upload manually built versions.
Given what I wrote above about team maintenance and if Peter agrees, do you want to join the Debian Common Lisp Team [1] and take care of SBCL for mips and mipsel? Obviously, you can help with other things, too.
I can join the team, but I can't promise to spend much time on it. I care about the Debian MIPS port in general, which means 500% of my sparetime is already taken. :-) Thiemo
