[cl-debian] Status of cl-rfc2109

Hello, a small report about the status of this ITP. The upstream package contains some part of the RFC2109 into the source code and this is the main reason this ITP hasn't been closed yet. Upstream submitted a patch to easily strip the RFC parts [1], but after applying the sed script [2], there are still RFC bits in some function descriptions. As soon as this last problem will be solved, the package will be uploaded (but obviously this won't be for etch). Thx, bye, Gismo / Luca Footnotes: [1] Wed Aug 9 21:58:18 CEST 2006 Alan Shields <patches@alan.shields.name> * easily strip RFC from rfc2109 for copyright concerns [2] $ sed -f stripdoc.sed > rfc2109.lisp_stripped

Couldn't these bits be considered short quotes and thus covered by the right to quote a copyrighted documented? Legally, Nowhere man -- nowhere.man@levallois.eu.org OpenPGP 0xD9D50D8A
