[cl-debian] Fwd: [eurolisp] [ANN] New versions of Closer libraries + AspectL

Hello,
Subject: [eurolisp] [ANN] New versions of Closer libraries + AspectL Date: Friday 03 February 2006 02:12 From: Pascal Costanza <pc@p-cos.net> To: eurolisp@common-lisp.net
New versions of the libraries in the Closer Project have been released, including the Closer to MOP compatibility layer for the CLOS MOP and the ContextL extension for Context-oriented Programming.
It seems that aspectl is now a darcs archive. If you want to follow this I fear we have to scratch and re-grow 'our' cl-aspectl darcs archives on the official darcs archive from Pascal. This is disruptive, but in the long run it will be easier to update and send patches, not? Yes, I have noticed already and am working to package the new version. ;-)

Oh, and before I forget: I am taking care of ContextL also, that has previously been part of AspectL.
Are you talking about the cl-contextl package that I made? Oh, it is still in the NEW queue... Groetjes, Peter -- signature -at- pvaneynd.mailworks.org http://www.livejournal.com/users/pvaneynd/ "God, root, what is difference?" Pitr | "God is more forgiving." Dave Aronson|

Ooops, no. I was about to package it myself, but now that seems to have solved itself. ;-) I of course don't want to steal your package. I'll point you to the updated AspectL package as soon as contextl is out of the NEW queue, because AspectL depends on it. Btw, how did you solve that ContextL only works with c2mop 0.31 while 0.30 is in unstable? I didn't manage to get it working with the current version but only with a newer one. Sorry, René
