Good news! I was able to execute the following on my original platform (Solaris 8) (loop :repeat 100 :do (break-cl-ppcre::test-telnet-argsmmgts5--case-2 "localhost" :prompt break-cl-ppcre::+default-mgts-server-prompt--break-cl-ppcre+)) with no problems. Looks like it did the trick.
