See my entries in items #1 and #2 of the Switchover section. I went ahead and provisioned a machine at Hetzner, and made a login for Philip. Philip you should have the credentials needed to log in and put an ssh public key. Could you try logging in (again, ssh is on port 4022). At some point I'd like to disable password login.
I installed my pubkeys and changed the password.
See if you think this host will suit our needs for the time being.
From a very quick glance it looks good - though I'd like to change the partitioning and switch to btrfs.
Let's try to make the setup process as repeatable as possible - in case this doesn't end up being the be-all, end-all machine.
Understood. I'll write down what I do resp. use VCS for the configuration.
My next block with more than 5mins time will be Thursday evening/night, let's see how far I get then.
Is there a way to get notified of updates to the cryptpad?
No, I don't think so.
And to see the edits over time.
It has chat on the right, a content overview to the left, ... ah right, "File" → "History".
Should we each make a login account over there?
That's not required.
Would it be better/more comfortable to switch to a Google document?
