A completely different question --
has any contacted GitLab (the organization) how much a hosted instance (SaaS) costs?
Ie. we point gitlab.common-lisp.net to them, have a few admin and lots of user logins, and they care about running the box.
That would leave us with a much smaller VM -- mailman, video conferencing, perhaps SSH, hosting of static pages (ie. getting the *.common-lisp.dev project pages synced)...
As all (?) of the gitlab content is public and open-source anyway, there's no real risk to privacy, is there? I think they might host it for free (Open Source, community, etc.), but even if not it might be beneficial if it reduces "our" (actually mostly Dave, nowadays, right?) work load...
