You are absolutely right, the gitlab "from" address needs to be changed to gitlab@gitlab.common-lisp.net. That's a bit more than throwing a simple switch, because DKIM, SPF, PTR etc need to be set up. I'm adding a to-do item to the Mail Services item on our odds & ends checklist for this now:

This link doesn’t work for me. But that’s ok, I personally don’t really need to see it. However, until the email address gets fixed, I’d like to temporarily add gitlab@future.common-lisp.net to the list of subscribers. But I think I’m too stupid to find the magic incantation in the postorius members page <https://mailman3.common-lisp.net/postorius/lists/cmucl-cvs.common-lisp.net/members/member/> to do that. :-(
