I set up INN2 on nntp.common-lisp.net. All mailinglists are mirrored with the newsgroups and viceversa (any posts to either are seen on both). This should make NNTP fans (like me) happier. Any reason not to go ahead and announce this on http://common-lisp.net/?

Ok by me. The current FTP status (conjob the bandaid -- if it's still true) might be good to mention too.
BTW, looking at Eclipse i noticed that we seem to have SSI enabled. Nice. ;) This might be good to worth mentioning as well (if it's globally available).
