According to this:

a reference to an Issue, e.g.
git commit -a -m"Fixes #154"
should automatically close said issue in the Issues list. It doesn't seem to be doing this currently in gitlab.common-lisp.net.
By the way, is there (or could we have) a Gitlab Issues project (with its own Issues lilst) somewhere in the repository, so that we don't have to track this sort of meta-issue through email?

Is this something recent? It was working for me a month or so ago.

That would be nice. Traffic is really low here, but having discussions in one place per issue is convenient.
