Looking at the CVS with http://common-lisp.net/viewvc/clazy/ I notice that the directory structure is rather messed up. I suppose it is a leftover of the many transfers but it is rather confusing.
I suppose I could move the whole repository to git, but in that case I need instructions. I cannot find them on the web site.

BTW, it looks like CVSROOT/config contains a
LockDir=/var/lock/clazy
This appears to create problems now, as I get a ‘cannot stat /var/lock/clazy’ error on commit or update.
In any case, I think I’d rather move to git.

You can find lots of pages on how to convert a cvs repo to git, preserving history. I think I used svn2git (which supports cvs) to convert cmucl cvs to git. I messed up a few things like some cvs things that were branches didn't come out to be git branches. But they were for ancient things that I no longer cared about. Annoying, but that's life.

I think I fixed the clazy repo. It would be great if you could still check if commiting to the cvs repository works now, so we can fix it for every affected cvs repo.
