Hello,
Would it be possible to install Git on c-l.net? gitweb and a git server might be nice (I don't really know much about them) but all I would really need right now is plain Git. That'd allow me to push via ssh.
Thanks in advance!
Ok, at this point enough people have asked for it that we should actually install it. The only thing holding this up is a libc upgrade which I have trepidations about, given that this is a Xen installation.
However, I think it'll be fine. I just don't have time to fix it if it breaks. So, do I have any volunteers?
Thanks, Erik.

I can't really volunteer for such a sysadmin task since I'd be terrible at it but I've tried Git from backports.org on my c-l.net account and it seems to work nicely:
http://www.backports.org/debian/pool/main/g/git-core/
Perhaps that would work?
Thanks for your time!
