[clo-devel] Git on c-l.net

Hello, Would it be possible to install Git on c-l.net? gitweb and a git server might be nice (I don't really know much about them) but all I would really need right now is plain Git. That'd allow me to push via ssh. Thanks in advance! -- Luís Oliveira http://student.dei.uc.pt/~lmoliv/

Ok, at this point enough people have asked for it that we should actually install it. The only thing holding this up is a libc upgrade which I have trepidations about, given that this is a Xen installation. However, I think it'll be fine. I just don't have time to fix it if it breaks. So, do I have any volunteers? Thanks, Erik. On 8/1/07, Luis Oliveira <luismbo@gmail.com> wrote:

I can't really volunteer for such a sysadmin task since I'd be terrible at it but I've tried Git from backports.org on my c-l.net account and it seems to work nicely: <http://www.backports.org/debian/pool/main/g/git-core/> Perhaps that would work?
