I always dream of wxWidgets bindings for lisp: that would mean there were a Cross-Platform gui that uses the operating system's native methods for drawing everything.

Only if you are passionate about QML/Qt5 I would consider EQL5, which I recently used for a desktop QML app on Windows 10, and it worked great. Even deploying was much simpler than expected (see updated deploy docu), but the Setup.exe was about 30 MB because it uses QML, being the app exe itself only about 1 MB.
But installation and learning it may take a while, if you don't know Qt/QML already.
