I have downloaded and installed the exif plugin2 on my Mac, but it does not show in Filemaker. Not even after restarting Filemaker and not even after restarting the computer. Any solutions?
Thanks!
version FM11 and OS MAC x.5.8

Hi Jens,
I have now succesfully installed the plug-in and it is recognised by Filemaker 11. So far so good. I have a photo archive that I wish to use this for. i was hoping I could include info such as aperture value and speed and ISO. But I am not sure I did it right. I followed the example file but only get question marks back.
I have created the two calc fields using my own fields. I have included the tag field, and attached the field value list with the tags from the tag file. I then put the fields on a layout of my photo file. I have tried the function after importing a folder of jpg pictures. But everything stays blank.
Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?
Thanks,
Nicky Decorte

Yes it does, although not for all of the provided tags. In the file, the field that should show the info you choose with the tag, goes empty.

I have tried on a Windows machine, using import, folder and pointing to a card reader with the picture files. First of all, it does not import raw images, which is what i was aiming for. Second, even if I import not only the thumbnail but also the picture (jpg), the exif information does not come across. I get two question marks in both calc fields of the plugin.

I'm out of office till 23.12. and can't provide further help at the moment.
Sorry - Jens
