Hello, I think there is a small bug in the grayscale version of the convolve method. [imago-devel] patch for writing indexed PNM images

Further to my email in July, I've attached the small patch to allow writing indexed images as PNM files. I also added a declaration to stop SBCL complaining about unused keywords. Thanks for Imago!

[imago-devel] Status of Imago, better options elsewhere?

Hi I notice that Imago is not really getting much discussion on the imago-devel mail list. I'm curious if previous users are now using a better library? I've been using it and for what I need it suits my modest requirements with the exception of write-pnm not supporting indexed images. I'm just checking if it's worth my effort to do the work adding support or whether I'd be better off throwing my support behind a more active project? Leigh -- Leigh M. [imago-devel] IMAGO images <-> SDL surfaces

Hello, I've written a bit of code to shuffle between IMAGO images and SDL surfaces. It should be fast enough to do manipulations on small sprites in real-time on a reasonably fast machine. It only works on RGB(A) images, since I found the overhead for extracting/packing channels is too high. Blitting versions forthcoming when I need them and figure out a good interface for specifying rectangles (for some reason SDL's don't seem all that good to me). Hello, Which version of zlib does file-png use? Neither the pure CL nor Marc Battyani's from CL-PNG have the same interface. It would also be good to include it in the CVS. Vladimir

Unfortunately, my time is very limited at the moment, so I have not been able to release a minimal working core so far. I'm expecting that in the next few days. Anyway, this project is just starting, and features will be quite limited in the beginning: PNM file reading/writing, and a few basic image manipulation operations. If you need to handle more file formats or more complex operations, I would recommend that you (temporarily) use some other tools... Regards, -- Matthieu Villeneuve

Hi, a lisp library to load, write and manipulate some image formats is exactly what I need, so I'm happy this project exists.
