All of the examples worked for me except the parts that imported graphic images. The first one just didn't work (the graphic label wasn't there), whereas the last example (8) bombed and ended up in the debugger.
Do these work for everyone else?
I'm running sbcl-1.0.8 on a linux-2.6.21 kernel.
