Hello, again After much confusion on my part, I am finally able to get images to work. Felip's latest code snippet works fine and I am able to use the same method in my own code. For some reason or other my old ppm images don't work. I think it has something to do with transparency, because if I make a new transparent image, it works. Anyway, that's a different problem. Thank you for all the help. Sorry it took so long to get me going.... Bill
