My first question: Is there a way to search in all the archives of LTK mailing list? If yes, how one does do that?
My second question LTK-related: Does LTK support Cells, or similar kind of auto-update mechanism? What i practically want to do is to have a global variable, whose change triggers the update of various widgets.

Tcl/Tk itself has some such mechanism you might be able to leverage (I do not know LTk very well so I do not know if it offers an API to that, but I imagine the glue would be easy for you to add).
