I'm not aware of this problem. Could you provide more information about the crash?
1. console log
2. backtrace (if it lands in a debugger)
3. sbcl version
4. last version that worked for you on this computer
Moreover you may try using McCLIM directly from the repository. The latest Quicklisp lags a few months behind our latest release. I don't think that this will help with the crash though.
