Great, I’ve now tried again, both with ASDF 3.1.4 and 3.1.6 (replacing contrib/asdf
with a checkout of that version), and I’m happy to report that everything went well
in either case. I’m not sure what went wrong the last time I tried.

I intend to release MKCL 1.1.10 with a newer ASDF (3.1.6 or later) before the end of this month.
