[munich-lisp] Room for next Meeting

Hi to everybody (and especially to Wolfgang!), as Jim told at our last (and first) meeting, Wolfgang might have some opportunity to organize a room. How is the situation? Are the chances good? Just wondering ... Cheers, - Alex Alexander Burger Software Lab. / 7fach GmbH Bahnhofstr. 24a, D-86462 Langweid abu@software-lab.de, http://www.software-lab.de, +49 821 9907090

Sorry for the delay in answering, but I'm busy preparing for exams ... Today I went to the man who's responsible for rooms at our University building. It should be no problem getting a room in the evening, especially not during lecture-free time which will start Feb. 13. I would reserve the room a week before, if possible. Location is Oettingenstr. 67 near Chinesischer Turm, MVG Hirschauer Str. (Bus [1]54) or Tivolistr. (Tram 17). Hi Wolfgang, It's great that you can get the room. Is there a beamer we can use? If not, I can checkout one from work and bring it. -jim Wolfgang Mederle wrote:

Does everyone think that the 8th of February 2005 (tuesday) at 19h00 (7pm) is a good day and time for the next munich lisp users group? Checkout the web page... -jim Jim Newton wrote:

hi wolfgang, it will depend on when you can get the room as to whether we can have the meeting one week later? you mentioned we need to do it before the 13th, right? or did i misunderstand? -jim Juan Jose Garcia Ripoll wrote:

I assume moving it one week is out of question, isn't it? :-/

The lecture-free time starts around Feb. 13th, but that only means that from that date on it should be even easier to get a room. No problem here. Wolfgang P.S. Just passed my oral exam in Computational Linguistics today. hi Wolfgang, will you please reserve the room for some date after the 13th, and please let me know which date. We can have the meeting at the date you suggest. -jim Wolfgang Mederle wrote:

Wow, for me that would be great, because I am in Stuttgart around the 8th. I have no constraints until the 27th of February, in which I must go to Austria and Berlin, and disappear until the 9th of March. Cheers, Juanjo P.S.: Does everybody get duplicated messages here? I get two copies of each e-mail on the list, and both on the same address: lisp@arrakis.es 8-?

has anyone recently tried to edit the wiki http://alu.cliki.net/edit/Munich I get a funny error message: error opening #P"/home/telent/var/www/alu/Munich.70": Permission denied would someone else give it a try and see what happens? -jim

Hi Jim,
has anyone recently tried to edit the wiki http://alu.cliki.net/edit/Munich
I think Daniel Barlow, the creator of the ALU cliki, has (temporarily?) turned off the editing facilities because of the increasing amount of spam. Arthur
