[pg-cvs] Bad interaction with SB-EXT:SAVE-LISP-AND-DIE

When I create a custom core the location of libosicat.so is hard-coded in the binary. Osicat should instruct CFFI/SB-ALIEN to load this library with :DONT-SAVE T to prevent saving a fixed path. Leslie -- http://www.linkedin.com/in/polzer

Hi Stelian and Luis, The Linux mremap call is missing from Osicat. It's quite handy and offers a nicer way of extending a mapping (possibly after ftruncate) than munmap/mmap. Please review and apply. Note that the unfortunate _GNU_SOURCE addition is necessary! (Using it for a replacement for anardb with mmap'd databases.)

I've been experimenting with application delivery on various linux systems, toward the elusive goal of being able to dump an executable with SBCL that works on machines other than my own. One problem I've encountered is an ability to load reload librt on some systems (notably, the kubuntu 7 VM I'm playing in). osicat/posix/unix.lisp contains the following library definition: (define-foreign-library librt (:linux (:or "librt.so" "/usr/lib/librt.so"))) (use-foreign-library librt) Despite my uncertain understanding of the rules for shared library naming (and for that matter, where librt is expected to reside), I think the following definition is preferable: (define-foreign-library librt (:linux (:or "librt.so.1" "/lib/librt.so.1"))) (use-foreign-library librt)

Hi, im trying to compile osicat with macbook openmcl 64 bit and get this error: Unable to load foreign library (NIL). Error opening shared library "/Users/mmstud/lisp/libs/osicat/posix/ wrappers.dylib": dlopen(/Users/mmstud/lisp/libs/osicat/posix/ wrappers.dylib, 10): no suitable image found. Did find: /Users/mmstud/lisp/libs/osicat/posix/wrappers.dylib: mach-o, but wrong architecture [Condition of type CFFI:LOAD-FOREIGN-LIBRARY-ERROR] I dont quite know where is should change the architecture check, so that proper one is created. -Marko
