[parenscript-devel] How do I skip the closing tag with ps-html?

Hi, I'm trying to generate <input name="foo"> with ps-html, the closest I got was (ps-html ((:input :name "foo"))) which creates <input name=\"foo\"></input>. I had a look through the tutorial and reference guide and asked in #lisp but didn't have much luck. I guess it's a pretty simple problem to solve but I am totally stuck, does anyone know how I can do this? (In other words how do I stop ps-html from adding a closing tag sometimes) Cheers, Dave.

Hi Everyone, I am having some problems creating a do loop, this example: (js (do ((i 0 (1+ i)) (l (aref blorg i) (aref blorg i))) ((or (= i blorg.length) (eql l "Fumitastic"))))) Produces: "var _js_i1436 = 0; var _js_l1437 = blorg[i]; var i = _js_i1436; var l = _js_l1437; delete _js_i1436; delete _js_l1437; for (; !(i == blorg.length || l == 'Fumitastic'); ) { var _js1438 = i + 1; var _js1439 = blorg[i]; i = _js1438; l = _js1439; };" which doesn't work. Hi, I am quite impressed by ParenScript. I installed it last August, but only recently I started playing with it. Some observations/comments : - js-script was in the Aug-2007 release but now it has been deprecated. By what has it been replaced ? - the js-script didn't work with with-html-output of cl-who, so I wrote my own macro js-script to do the script-tag + CDATA stuff which is still required for scripts in the header - the tutorial (Aug-28, 2007 p3) still refers to js-script -Wout

Vladimir, There is a conflict between parenscript and css-lite. Hi I started to use parenscript and javascript portion of it works just fine. Now, I wanted to incorporate some css into the code and ran into problems. When I try to evaluate the sample code: (html-stream *standard-output* (html (:html (:head (css (* :border "1px solid black") (div.bl0rg :font-family "serif") (("a:active" "a:hoover") :color "black" :size "200%")))))) I get an error: Execution of a form compiled with errors. Form: ((STYLE TYPE text/css) (PRINC <!-- ) (PRINC (CSS-RULE-TO-STRING (CSS-RULE * BORDER 1px solid black)) (CSS-RULE-TO-STRING (CSS-RULE DIV.BL0RG FONT-FAMILY serif)) (CSS-RULE-TO-STRING (CSS-RULE (a:active a:hoover) COLOR black SIZE 200%))) .. [Condition of type SB-INT:COMPILED-PROGRAM-ERROR] I am using sbcl 1.0.18 on Ubuntu. How can I solve it? Thank you! Andrew
