Thanks for the clarification Tom. I guess I inferred wrong from the timing of things. I guess my bitterness of Objective-C being the lingua franca of Apple operating systems app development instead of Dylan still shows.

The demise of Dylan had nothing to do with NeXT. While it's true that the Apple Cambridge office received its coup de grĂ¢ce when the NeXT acquisition occurred (I was there and laid off because of it) Dylan was unfortunately gone by then.
