Hi, I'm fiddling around with qupasa. Does anyone remember where qmp comes from? E.g. there are calls to qmp:define-thread-variable. Thanks, Derek

A bit of grepping shows that qmp is a nickname for quux-multiprocessing, defined in pkgdcl.lisp, and defined in compat-threads.lisp threads.lisp thread-variables.lisp thread-variables-test.lisp I suppose these and any supporting macros would be a good candidate for export to qitab https://github.com/qitab/qitab When we move things, we probably need to keep track of what we move and what we fail to move. I propose that one directory under qitab should contain partially migrated files, and a file with a list of partially or completely migrated files. A new system xuuq might also offer a view of the new files that is (mostly) backward compatible with the old one, for the sake of migration. But we don't actually have to maintain it, just insert the hints for changes that would be difficult to reverse engineer afterwards. —♯ƒ • François-René ÐVB Rideau •Reflection&Cybernethics• http://fare.tunes.org Foolishness is rarely a matter of lack of intelligence or even lack of information. — John McCarthy
