[regex-coach] Feature request: turn off real time option

This is the best tool for building RegEx's I've found! Thanks, Edi! I use it to test expressions that search OCR text for multiple-date formats and invoice information. Sometimes I have long expressions and large target strings. When this happens, I would really like to be able to turn off the real time testing because my machine takes a while to process each keystroke - it would be cool to turn this feature off or only search when the text has not changed for >0.7 seconds (configurable?) or maybe on a key-combination. I would also like Regex Coach to fix all my OCR errors, make my tea and remind me about my wife's birthday.. ;-) Great product! --Dave

Trying to use regex to determine if my regexp are correct. When I use the shortened version it works fine. The long version hangs. The short version: relatedLayers=>\[([^,]+,?)+\],y=>1,z=>2 relatedLayers=>[MET1,MET2,MET3,MET4,MET5,], The long version ^boolean=>[ao][rn]d?,comment=>[^,]+,intraFigure=>[01],layer=>[^,]+,relatedLayers=>\[([^,]+,?)+\],relatedSpace=>\d+,square=>[01],value=>\d+$ boolean=>and,comment=>comment,intraFigure=>1,layer=>MET1,relatedLayers=>[MET2,MET3,MET4,MET4],relatedSpace=>20,square=>0,value=>50 I'm running v 0.9.0 on a Dell M65 (intel Core Duo )

Hi guys. Hopefully someone can help me. I have the following chunk of XML code. I need to extract the last section, from <w:p> to </w:p> (inclusive) in the section that contains the [INTRODUCTION] text. Here is my current attempt: <w:p>.*(?=<w:t>).*(?=INTRODUCTION).*(?=</w:t>).*?</w:p> Problem is, that regular expression grabs the entire chunk, not just the last section.
