[slime-devel] sb-aclrepl and slime

Greetings, I'm trying to get slime to work with sb-aclrepl from sbcl's contrib directory, but without any luck. Sb-aclrepl works fine if I just run sbcl, but once I run it under slime as well it stops responding. Is there a way to get slime and aclrepl to work together? Regards martin

[slime-devel] long condition reports in sldb

I often get errors that have long error reports in sldb. sldb doesn't do wraparound so reading these is difficult - I often cut/paste into some other buffer to see it. My emacs chops are not such that I know how to repair this in an elegant way. Does anyone have a suggestion? I suppose I could have emacs wrap the region. Is this the best that can be done? [slime-devel] linefeed in string frame arguments in sldb

If backtrace (in openmcl, at least), if you have a string argument that has a linefeed then then the linefeed messes up the display of the backtrace. Ideally I think it would be nice to replace the linefeeds with a special glyph (which I don't know how to do), but failing that I'm inclined to replace them with the string <<lf>> or \n or somesuch. Is anyone else bothered by this problem and/or have a better solution? -Alan

Check the change log for details. Users of map-backtrace (outside of slime code) note: The tcr position in the function call is now occupied by the backtrace "context" which is always nil in 0.14.2. If you really need the tcr then you need to call %current-tcr yourself now. Tested in 0.14.1 and 0.14.2. Let me know if you have any trouble with it. -Alan

[slime-devel] cannot start slime
