Hi, o enhancement: selector r -> switch to another Lisp's repl if already in a repl o enhancement: C-c C-m in macroexpansion buffer (*SLIME Description*) should leave window as is (currently switches that same already visible buffer to the next window, causing visual confusion) o enhancement: C-c C-m inside macroexpansion in *SLIME Description could expand in place instead of replacing the whole buffer with the new expansion o *Slime Inspector* name not coherent with either *SLIME Apropos* or *slime-events*, I suggest *SLIME Inspector* I'm about to send one more clisp-specific patch, but these things came to my mind during my first approach to SLIME. [I'm still using slime-1.2.1, but promise to move to the next FAIRLY-STABLE CVS when it will include my apropos patches] o doc suggestion: mention in doc & web site that http://common-lisp.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/cvs_root.tar.gz?tarball=1&cvsroo… can be used to download the FAIRLY-STABLE tarball. Hi, has anybody ever been hit by this error? I searched the archives and found nothing. arglist: string-upcase not a string: #1=("length" 0 6 (swank-io-package::startopen t swank-io-package:end-open t)) It happens in both cmucl and clisp after typing the space following e.g. "(length " in either the repl or a Lisp-slime buffer. Sometimes, there's no error, and the arglist gets displayed in the mini-buffer, as expected. But it does not happen consistently. I.e. it just happened now again, after a long period of peace :-) It happens with slime-1.2.1 and the fairly-stable snapshot from ~2 weeks ago. Regards, Jorg Hohle.

Hi all, I've been experiencing some strange bugs related to the slime-show-xrefs function trying to access the 'void variable' package. This behavior occurs more or less consistently while editing (on a Linux machine) a set of files that where written using the Franz Emacs Lisp Interface on a MacOSX. However, I noticed that the macrocall expands into a (with-current-buffer ... (slime-init-xref-buffer package ...)) and maybe it was that 'package' variable being referenced after changing to a different buffer that was causing the problem. Hello, Under SBCL 0.9.1.36 I type ``(-)'' into slime-repl, put the cursor on ``-'' and press M-.. Then error message ``Symbol's value as variable is void: pgk'' is printed in the minibuffer.
