I do not understand the following, if I start Gnus without a slime
running gnus works as it should but if I open a slime session I got
errors from gnus, like the following:
e.g I'm in my Incoming nnml group and type SPC then I get normally

It's so utterly strange,what does slime has to do with gnus?
My system is an Linux/Debian unstable 2.6.11

slime sources from around 4 days or so ago.
Has anyone else encountered this strange behaviour?
