Hello, every once in a while I get the following message in emacs 22.2.1: Warning (slime): "cl-ansys.lisp":35:0 (pt=1042). Caught error when trying to extend the region for fontification. [slime-devel] M-. with one method

A lot of the time I have only one method defined and M-. on a method call displays a menu like: (No location) (DEFGENERIC FOO (BAZ)) /src/xyzzy.lisp (DEFMETHOD FOO BAZ) Is there a configuration that can just automatically jump directly to the only method available? Thank you.

A colleague at ITA wrote a lot of docstrings and comments for slime code. What is the best way to get them reviewed and either merged upstream or rejected? I'll try to merge the changes and send a patch shortly. And how does one get commit privileges? Xemacs 21.5 (beta28) "fuki" [Lucid] (i386-redhat-linux, Mule) SBCL: 1.0.29 / Linux x86 SLIME: cvs checkout 2009-06-12 Pity I couldn't copy the whole message, but Xemacs froze up and eventually croaked: "Out of memory: Memory exhausted." Nasty way to go. Gist of it, transcribed from its from cold dead window: slime-bug("Caught error during fontification while searching for forms that are suppressed by reader-conditionals. The error was: (cl-assertion-failed (<= (point) limit)) I believe the pt mentioned referred to this function: (defmethod collect-unames ((this yucky-guts)) #+my-hids-support (loop for s in (targets this) collecting (uname s)) #-my-hids-support nil )
