[slime-devel] contrib/slime-c-p-c.el, keybinding for slime-complete-form

The function `slime-c-p-c-init' in `contrib/slime-c-p-c.el' defines a keybinding for `slime-complete-form' (binding it to `C-c C-s') in the `slime-mode-map'. Unfortunately this keybinding (and actually any keybinding defined in a contrib, I think) cannot possibly propagate to the REPL, or rather `slime-repl-mode-map', because of how that keymap is currently being contrived. How should contribs define keybindings that are also valid on the REPL? Define the same keybinding in `slime-mode-map', _and_ `slime-repl-mode-map' explicitly? -T.

What is the current practise on writing ChangeLog entries? Is the following analysis correct? If a changeset touches something in contrib/, an entry to contrib/ChangeLog should be added. If a changeset touches something in ./, an entry to ChangeLog should be added. If a changeset touches both, an entry to both should be added. (Addressing different points of the changeset respectively.) -T.

Hi there, I've recently updated my slime, and find that slime-reindent-defun in a lisp-mode file buffer is no longer working: it tries to call slime-repl-at-prompt-start-p, which tries to compare a number and the value of slime-repl-input-start-mark, which is nil. This patch fixes the symptoms, but it looks a bit wrong to me. Maybe somebody who knows more about the constraints involved can come up with a better fix. Folks, CMUCL now has an x86-Darwin port as well as the PPC-Darwin version. Is there a way to keep the source files on the local client, if the lisp image is on a server? I know of -tramp files are on the server :-( -rsync same problem. -ssfs from the server to the client: Pro: the client needs no driver installation Cons: the server needs some. How to you resolve that problem? Helmut
