Questions:
Which Lisp versions do you use SLIME with?
SLIME CVS
Which Emacs versions?
Emacs CVS
How well does SLIME work for you?
Very, very good.
What bugs (reproducible or otherwise) or missing features annoy you?
When some error occurs, SLIME don't enter the debugger mode, it directly shows the Lisp buffer. Strange.
Is there some packaging system (e.g. Debian) that you would like to see SLIME 1.0 bundled with? If so, do you know how to coordinate this?
Well. I don't have any trouble with updating my CVS copy myself and I don't use any packaged version of Emacs. But, since almost every Emacs software is available through Debian packages, it will be a good idea to have SLIME packaged.
If you said anything negative above then please say something nice here to make us feel good:
Actually, SLIME is the most advanced Lisp editor I've seen so far. It's so integrated and so intelligent that I can't find anything wrong about it. Even the way it's implemented is great (in both Emacs and Common Lisp sides).
